A photography portfolio has to do more than place images in a grid. RK Pai's work spans individual bird portraits, location-led field stories and the Feather Fables book, each of which needs context without competing with the photography.
The experience also had to stay calm and image-led across screen sizes while making it easy to move between recent stories, the wider gallery, the photographer's profile and the book.
We designed and developed a media-first portfolio where the interface recedes and each photograph carries the visual hierarchy.
The homepage introduces the photographer through a strong hero, a curated sequence of bird stories and a personal profile. Dedicated story and gallery views let visitors explore the wider archive, while an interactive book presentation gives Feather Fables its own moment.
